Continuity, Hues and Tonality

Continuity of hue with contrasting pattern and materials brings interest and texture to a space without losing the overall tonality. By introducing darker tones to walls, it can compliment earthy tones of accessories, whilst making others pop against the contrast.  Varing texture is also something that brings an interior scheme to life, metallics, glass and handcrafted materials like natural stone and seagrass can add layers of interest without straying away from the tonality of a colour palette.  Here we’ve tweaked the room by changing the wall colour to a darker tone khaki green, (DH Slate @duluxheritage )which sits alongside our Ayanna feather Wall Hanging and our rustic Raeni Vessel. Using a few black accessories like our Nyan figure and Guido Vase helps ground the overall look whilst the white console lifts the scheme, keeping the colour palette balanced.
