Cooling temperatures and shorter days means more time indoors and what better way to inject some much needed warmth into your home than stocking up on soft throws and blankets.

The Throw is an extremely versiltle soft furnishing, it doesn't have to just adorn sofas in the living room. One of my favourite styles has to be fluffy sheepskin throws over dining table benches in the kitchen as it adds layers to hard wooden surfaces.

Placing on the end of a bed is another look that injects pattern and texture to plain neutral bed linen, adding a layer of luxury with materials like velvet and mohair.
